This film uses narrative visuals to reveal the cyclical experience of modern consumerism. The project features two approaches: a traditional one-perspective animation and immersive VR scenes, offering audiences a deeper engagement with the themes presented.

This artwork projects “imagined selves” into virtual space.Through a series of digital personas (masks), it explores the relationship between “me” and my “new crafted identities," aiming to break conventional boundaries and expand self-awareness and imagination.

The installation aims to peel away the external “them” to reveal the internal “I”, encouraging individuals to confront and embrace their deepest desires and primal forces. The core theme is to explore oneself, feel oneself, and ultimately, become oneself.

The thesis collection comprises two distinct parts, the first of which involves the physical construction of the concept and served as the initial starting point of an ongoing exploration about humanity’s relationship to the unseen.

The second part seeks to bridge the gap between physical and digital universe, providing a new perspective on the ways in which these mediums can intersect and complement one another.

The installation questions the common belief that practice makes perfect. It expresses the inner suffering endured by East Asian children through the harsh sounds of the erhu. "Practice" allows audience to hear the duality of torment and invites them to reflect on what this relentless, emotionless repetition truly signifies.
